Color Theory was one of my first courses as an art school student, and it's something I continually use every day in my work. (Unlike drawing class, which only really comes up when I have nightmares about naked Hairy Armpit Monsters.)

For anyone dabbling in design, Smashing Magazine has a new three-part Color Theory For Designers series. Even if you've taken Color Theory, it's a good refresher course and author Cameron Chapman does a lover-ly job of breaking it down as it applies to web design, examples and all.
